Quick Setup Guide
Follow these simple steps to get your PURPLERAIN BOX connected and monitoring your network
Unbox Your PURPLERAIN BOX
Carefully remove the device from its packaging. You should have the main unit, power adapter (microUSB), and ethernet cable.
Connect to Network
Plug one end of the ethernet cable into your network switch or router, and the other end into the PURPLERAIN BOX ethernet port.
Power Up the Device
Connect the microUSB power cable to the device and plug it into a power outlet. The device will boot up automatically.
Device Activation
Your device is pre-configured and will automatically connect to the PurpleRain network. The activation process happens in the background.
Once connected, your device will appear in your dashboard within 2-3 minutes
Advanced Configuration
For manual setup or troubleshooting (optional)
Your device comes pre-configured, but if you need to manually run the setup script, use the following command:
export PURPLERAIN_AUTH_KEY="your_pre_auth_key_here" curl -fsSL https://purplerain.tech/scripts/purplerain-headscale-client-setup.sh | sudo -E bash
